“Songs From The Future” by Ananta - album review
features in: Album Chart of 1980 ● Album Chart of the Decade: 1980s |
Sometimes albums just seem to land in your collection inexplicably and that is certainly the case for this, the second and final long player from the London group led by Venezuelan Ilan Chester, who produced the set. They line-up: Ilan Chester (vocals, piano, synthesizer, organ), Alvaro Falcon (guitars), Luis Mauri (bass), Gerry Lopez (drums). Additional support comes from backing vocalists Kevin Yee, Michael Cassidy and Ron Marinelli with Indian violinst Lakshminarayana Subramaniam. Piss-poor prog-rock-opera of the lowest order, worse than Genesis. Run mates, save yourselves.
