“Bad Company” by Bad Company - album review

TJR says

Hugely succesful debut album from the Led-Zepp supported hard-rock supergroup, reaching #1 in the States and #3 in the UK. They lined up: Paul Rodgers (ex-Free, vocals, rhythm and acoustic guitars, piano, tambourine), Mick Ralphs (ex-Mott The Hoople, lead guitar, keyboards), Boz Burrell (ex-King Crimon, bass) and Simon Kirke (ex-Free, drums). The album leads with their signature song - and biggest hit - “Can't Get Enough”, which made Top 5 stateside and Top 20 in the UK with the immortal line “well, I take whatever I want, and baby, I want you”. Their stateside stadium arena success came as no great surprise - who can possibly resist this well nourished cock-rock? The best is saved 'til last when the band are sacked and Rodgers angles for some of that Led Zepp folk vibe, but it's too little too late.
