“That’s The Way It Is” by Elvis Presley - album review
features in: Album Chart of 1970 ● Album Chart of the Decade: 1970s |

Released in November, 1970, simultaneously with his documentary film of the same name, chronicling his August 1970 concert engagements at The International Hotel in Las Vegas. Just four of the tracks feature on the LP, notably his (would be) famous cover of the (then current) current B.J. Thomas hit “I Just Can’t Help Believin’”. The other eight tracks were recorded in Nashville in June, 1970, at the same sessions which yielded his forthcoming album “Elvis Country (I’m 10,000 Years Old)”. That Parker feller was good at weaving product yarn.
