“Nightclubbing” by Grace Jones - album review
features in: Album Chart of 1981 ● Album Chart of the Decade: 1980s |
Wow. Who’d have thought it - from those ridiculous LPs in the 70s, Grace Jones has catapulted into my affections with album no.5. There’s a fair bit of dubwise class onboard here, with Sly and Robbie involved again for the second album in a row. And to make it even better, Grace Jones had a hand in the writing of the two highlight tracks - “Pull Up To The Bumper” (8.2) and “Feel Up” (7.9).
