“Deep Water” by Grapefruit - album review
features in: Album Chart of 1969 ● Album Chart of the Decade: 1960s |
A whole 2 point fall-back from their debut; they seem to have went for a more Americanised sound this time around, mixing up boogie rock, southern rock and country rock; it comes across as very safe and kinda boring. We need British bands doing this like we need a hole in the head.
