“Underneath The Colours” by INXS - album review
features in: Album Chart of 1981 ● Album Chart of the Decade: 1980s |
Providing that all-important conduit between Elton John and Japan, the second album from the Sydney group arrived in October, 1981. They line-up: Michael Hutchence (vocals), Kirk Pengilly (guitar, saxophone, vocals), Garry Gary Beers (bass), Andrew Farriss (keyboards, guitar), Jon Farriss (drums, percussion) and Tim Farriss (guitar). The title-track has a certain funky charm, but that's about it.
