There’s just a flicker of hope in the choppy funk opener, “How Did We Lose It”, however, it’s immediately betrayed by the sickly balladeering on the following “How Does It Feel”. And so the album bobs on unaffectingly, veering between a very laid back style of cabaret soul funk and the aforementioned spew-inducing moonies…
