Majella's no' a bad chanter to be fair, but this naff band o' plastic folkies are the pits. I doubt very much it's as authentically live as the liner notes would have you believe:
Wherever you may travel, the sounds of Scotland are bound to intrude upon your ears. From the Rocky Mountains to the jungles of Malaya you will find Scots people who, although they have travelled far afield from their native lochs and highlands, will never cease to yearn for the familiar sounds of festive merriment. These all-time favourite songs - admirably sung by the renowned Neil Lynden and TV star Majella, were recorded on location in the heart of Scotland’s greatest city, backed by the local inhabitants, OF COURSE! It is certain that the sounds of revelry will lift the hearts of young and old alike and they will brighten the minds and eyes of many peoples throughout the wide world to whom Scotland and all things Scottish have such a warm and homely affection.
