“Cold Snap” by Peggy Seeger and Ewan MacColl - album review

TJR says

This was a newly recorded album from the duo in 1978, but the inclusion of 4 reworkings from the back album discography rules it out as an "A-list" release. An entertaining mixture of traditional and contemporary songs and ballads, the LP features accompaniment by Ewan’s sons Calum (14) and Neill (18) on guitars, along with guitarist Alan Prosser and fiddler Ian Telfer. MacColl takes lead vocal on 8 (a new version of “As I Came In By Fisherraw” being the best of these), Seeger 6 (“Thoughts Of Time” being most outstanding), with 1 (“Dull Monday”) being instrumental.
