He left MGM for ABC-Dunhill Records in 1974, recording the one-off album, "I Have a Dream", a rather schmaltzy tribute to Martin Luther King Jr. Just when I was losing the faith, along came a belter in “I Ain’t Gonna Give Up (Till I Find A Way)”, offering a sumptuous groove with beautiful strings and a neat vocal delivery, despite digging on Barry White. It might be harder to find treasures with Solomon these days - but, erm, I ain’t gonna give up…
