“Up-Tight” by Stevie Wonder - album review
features in: Album Chart of 1965 ● Album Chart of the Decade: 1960s |
For me, a surefire improvement on the preceding boyish efforts where he couldn't seem to make up his mind whether he wanted to be Ray Charles or Nat King Cole. This time around, he's gone for the recognisable trademark Motown sound, the famous title-track being the standout.
