“Sunflower” by The Beach Boys - album review
features in: Album Chart of 1970 ● Album Chart of the Decade: 1970s |
Pah, seems like the preceding “20/20” offered false hope. “Sunflower” is universally acclaimed as one of their very finest LPs, but I'm not having that. In fact, as far as my tastes go I'd categorically state it to be their worst - sickly sweet like the Bee Gees, and even puts me in mind of the Osmonds at times. Get me outta here.
