TJR says

No big hits on the Electric Prunes second set – but it’s stronger as a whole, with the band who, it seems, were very much “contract controlled” being “allowed” to write more than half of the songs themselves. Bassist Mark Tulin and vocalist / autoharpist James Lowe came up with the excellent “Wind-Up Toys”, absolutely their finest piece in my opinion. So stylish in so many different directions. I can’t help wondering what they could have delivered had they been allowed greater artistic freedom. Drummer Michael Weakley co-wrote another album sizzler, the vibrant “Long Days Flight (Til Tomorrow)”. Thumbs up for this one. Reprise should’ve let these boys run free…
