TJR says

Into the 70s and The Hollies are still game and still in vogue after their smash hit “He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother” a year earlier. Their first full-length of the new decade is fully written by the group members who line up: Allan Clarke (vocals, guitar), Tony Hicks (lead guitar, vocals), Terry Sylvester (rhythm guitar, vocals), Bernie Calvert (bass, keyboards) and Bobby Elliott (drums). It's a sophisticated offering of the adult-pop ilk with just a hint of Americana. I don't get much out of it all personally, but surprising and delighting me greatly is “Separated”, all acoustic guitars and tom-toms, coming on like the folkie Led Zeppelin; pity it seems to be a bit of a one-off moment.
