Bio |
The Sherbone Sisters were a Pop/Soul vocal group who sung mainly in Zulu (and occasionally in English) around at the end of the 1970s, under the stewardship of West Nkosi at Mavuthela Productions. The ladies - Joana Thango from Kwa Nongoma, Catherine Dumakude from White City Jabavu, Helen Mosolodi from Sibasa and Sandra Senne from Rustenburg - were uncredited session singers for groups such as The Peddlars, but also had star billing in their own right.
