“The Train I’m On” by Tony Joe White - album review

TJR says

Not that I ever a committed fan, but Tony Joe's soulful pop rock groove schtick is wearing thinner than ever before, with a particularly namby-pamby 3 track streak on side two. By the time the roots-blues brilliance of “Sidewalk Hobo” kicks in it's too late to save the day for me.
