TJR says

For this May '75 release the trio was expanded to a quintet featuring Paul McCartney (vocals, bass, guitars, keyboards, piano, percussion), Linda McCartney (keyboards, backing vocals, percussion) and Denny Laine (vocals, guitars, keyboards, percussion) with new recruits Jimmy McCulloch (guitars, vocals, percussion) and Joe English (drums, percussion). The set is comparable with “Band On The Run” in terms of style and quality, the middle-of-the-road fare once again numbing my musical senses, with only the fun electro-pop of “Magneto And Titanium Man” and the soulful blues-rocker “Call Me Back Again” remotely resonating with me. On both of these, Macca seems to be relaxed and enjoying messing around with his vocalisations, the latter almost channeling his inner-Lennon as he gets raspy with it. The album housed three singles: “Listen To What The Man Said” (#6 in the UK and #1 in the US) as well as “Letting Go” and “Venus And Mars”, both of which failed to make the Top 40 in the UK. As with it's predecesor, the album made #1 in both the UK and the US.
